Phuket Calling! Thailand Launches Free "All-Inclusive" Muay Thai Instructor Course for Foreigners
PHUKET, THAILAND – Calling all expats, travelers, and digital nomads! The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), in collaboration with the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, is offering a golden opportunity to experience the Art of Eight Limbs like never before. The organization has announced the launch of the "Free Muay Thai Instructor Course" (Introductory Level), scheduled to take place from February 3-7, 2026, in the tropical paradise of Phuket.
This exclusive program, designed specifically for foreign nationals aged 20-60, aims to introduce the authentic foundations of Muay Thai to an international audience. Under the theme "Discover. Train. Inspire.", participants will be mentored by certified Muay Thai Masters licensed by the Board of Boxing Sport. The curriculum goes beyond basic fighting techniques; it covers the history of the sport, anatomy and physiology for instructors, and the cultural significance behind the "Wai Kru" ceremony.
What makes this program truly unmissable is the "100% Free All-Inclusive Package." Selected participants will receive a fully funded experience, which includes 5 nights of accommodation at the Dara Hotel Phuket, all main meals and snacks, a full Muay Thai uniform, and a traditional Kru Muay Kit (Mongkhon & Prajiad). Upon completion, graduates will receive an official certificate from the Sports Authority of Thailand, paving the way for further certification as professional instructors.
Seats for this pilot program are strictly limited. Those eager to immerse themselves in Thai culture and build a strong martial arts foundation are encouraged to apply immediately via the official online channels. This is more than just a training camp; it is a chance to become part of the global Muay Thai legacy.
